Hazardous waste plastic is that in the existing technical and economic conditions can not be
recycled for re processing of waste plastics. Recyclable waste plastic is that can be processed
into plastic products or through chemical recycling of them or by incineration with energy
recovery of waste plastics.
Recycling of recyclable waste plastics can be divided into four stages:
A recovery refers to the processing method is usually the waste plastic processing recyclable
into new material properties with the same or similar products.
Two levels of recycling of waste plastics by refers to one or more processing method for
processing into a slightly poorer performance than the new material products.
Three level recovery refers to the use of chemical composition of waste plastics recycling, make
it become monomer or fuel.
Four level recovery refers to energy recovery from waste plastics by incineration.
The regeneration of waste plastics processing, there are different degrees of decline performance. Is mainly caused by aging, oxidation and thermal aging. The size of the extent of
the decline in performance mainly depends on the age and environment. Waste edge, produce the molding processing factory production waste, the recycling material performance degradation is
very small, can be used when the new material almost. Indoor use, short service life of the products, recycling material properties do not change, but in the long years of outdoor use,
poor environment (such as stress, electric field, the chemical medium etc.) product performance is poor, even can not recover. Several common plastic recycled material properties change reference.
PVC: after regeneration discoloration is obvious, a regeneration after extrusion with a light brown, the three time is almost opaque brown, viscosity unchanged at two times, two times more than a downward tendency. Whether it is hard or soft PVC, regeneration should be added stabilizer, in order to make further product luster, regeneration can add extender ABS1%-3%.
The regenerated PE:PE performance has declined, yellow color, after repeated after extrusion,
high density polyethylene decrease viscosity, low density polyethylene viscosity rise.
PP: a regeneration, color is almost unchanged, melt index rose more than two, color is aggravating, melt index is still up. After regeneration of breaking strength and elongation decreased, but no problem.
PS: after regeneration yellow color, so the regeneration of PS generally poor color. Decrease degree and the times of regeneration recycling performance is proportional to the strength, fracture in the incorporation of less than 60%, no significant change, limiting viscosity in mixing amount is below 40%, no obvious change.
ABS: after regeneration change significantly, but the content is less than 20-30%, no
significant changes in performance
